THE MARKS OF A

DOES MY LIFE REVEAL I AM WALKING IN GOD'S WORD?
At the conclusion of our 10-week, summer study in Psalm 119, we reflected on THE MARKS OF A FLOURISHING LIFE. We pray this list will help provide ongoing reflection, repentance and growth in your life.
COMMIT – I make decisions by seeking God's will in Scripture, not to earn His approval, but because I already have it as His child by grace through faith in Jesus.
TREASURE – When I need guidance or comfort, I turn to God's Word before I turn to social media or other voices.
SEEK – When life crushes me, I run to God in prayer and His Word rather than escaping through comfort, entertainment, or other distractions.
TRUST – I stand firm on biblical convictions even when family, friends, or culture pressure me to compromise my faith.
LEARN – I can say "it was good for me to be afflicted" because by God’s grace I see how hardship has taught me to depend on God's Word more than my circumstances.
CLING – When I’m exhausted and overwhelmed, I cling to God’s promises... not my own strength, plans, or control.
DELIGHT – I genuinely look forward to reading the Bible and find myself thinking about biblical truths throughout my day.
FOCUS – I turn to God's Word for clarity when the world feels chaotic, and I respond with His truth and compassion rather than my emotions and anger.
BURN – I'm consumed by God's Word, and the Holy Spirit uses it to shape my schedule, saturate my conversations, and transform how I live.
PERSEVERE – I understand that finishing strong is about resting in God's grace with ongoing dependence and increasing obedience, but not perfect performance.
FLOURISH – I trust Jesus as my Savior, walk with Him daily in His Word, and share Him with others because this is what it means to truly FLOURISH.
