OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS
We believe parents are the primary disciple makers in their child's life. TeamKID partners with you to reinforce biblical truths you're already teaching at home while providing your child with biblical foundations that will last a lifetime.

Your children will explore foundational Christian beliefs including who God is, the life and teachings of Jesus, how to live as followers of Christ, and God's heart for missions around the world. Each session combines high-energy fun with deep spiritual growth.

REGISTRATION
TeamKID will have a small registration fee of $10 per child, with a maximum of $30 per family for the entire year. This covers each child's activity book, snacks, and materials needed for the full school-year program.

"Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

PROGRAM DETAILS & SAFETY
Q: How is the program structured?
A: Children are grouped by age (separate preschool and elementary groups) with trained volunteers who have passed background checks. We use secure check-in/check-out procedures and can accommodate food allergies and special needs.

Q: Is there flexibilityto the program?
A: Children can join at any time during the school year, and families can try the program before making a full commitment. We understand busy family schedules and there's no binding long-term commitment required.

AGE GROUPS & STRUCTURE
Q: Will preschool and elementary kids be together?
A: No, we'll have separate age-appropriate groups. Preschoolers (ages 3-4) will have their own activities and learning materials, while elementary children (K-5th grade) may be further divided by age depending on enrollment numbers.

Q: What if my child is shy or has special needs?
A: Our program is designed for children to participate at their comfort level. We have trained volunteers who understand child development and can provide additional support as needed. Please let us know about any special accommodations during registration.

COST & REGISTRATION
Q: What does the $10 per child fee cover?
A: The fee covers your child's activity book (which they keep), all materials for approximately 30 meetings, snacks throughout the year, and any special event supplies.

Q: When is payment due?
A: Payment is due at registration, but we're happy to work with families if cost is a concern. Our goal is that no child misses out due to financial constraints.

COMMITMENT & FLEXIBILITY
Q: Is this a year-long commitment?
A: While the program runs throughout the school year (September-May), there's no binding commitment. We understand families have varying schedules and activities.

Q: Can my child try it before we commit?
A: Absolutely! Feel free to bring your child for 2-3 sessions to see if TeamKID is a good fit before making a full commitment and payment.

Q: What if we miss several weeks?
A: Kids can easily catch up since each lesson builds biblical knowledge progressively. We'll provide missed activity pages and help your child feel welcomed back into the group.

Q: Can children join mid-year?
A: Yes! The curriculum is designed so children can join at any point during the year and still benefit fully from the program.

SAFETY & LOGISTICS

A: Children will explore foundational Christian beliefs including who God is, the life and teachings of Jesus, how to live as followers of Christ, and God's heart for missions around the world. Each session includes age-appropriate Bible study and practical life application.

Q: How much Scripture memory is required?
A: Each session includes a memory verse, but children work at their own pace. Verses are age-appropriate and repeated throughout the week. We provide memory aids and encourage (but don't require) practice at home.

Q: Is this the same content as Sunday morning?
A: No, TeamKID uses different curriculum (LifeWay's "Setting the Pace") that complements but doesn't duplicate our Sunday morning teaching. It focuses on foundational doctrines while Sunday mornings continue our verse-by-verse Bible studies.

Q: What about missions education?
A: Each session includes missions videos and activities that help children understand God's heart for the world. Children will pray for missionaries, learn about different cultures, and discover how they can share God's love in their own communities.

Q: Tell me more about family meals.

Q: Can parents stay and observe TeamKID?
A: While TeamKID is designed as a drop-off program, parents are always welcome to observe or help as volunteers. We encourage parent involvement and partnership in their child's spiritual growth.

A: Contact Amy Figgins at amy@goodlifefl.com or stop by the Kids counter on Sunday mornings. We're excited to discuss how TeamKID can benefit your family!
